If your debit card is damaged lost or stolen check the FAQ section of your state unemployment office for instructions on how to get a replacement card. They may either issue a check or get a new card arranged for you.

You need to contact your states unemployment office as soon as you can.

How to get another unemployment debit card. The first step after you receive your card is to activate it. The card is issued directly from the Bank that is contracted with your states Unemployment Benefits agency. Direct deposit transfer can be set up as a one-time transfer or as an automatic recurring transfer.

Per the federal law individuals who have exhausted benefits will not be eligible for weeks of benefits prior to March 14 2021. Do not contact the Nevada Unemployment office to set up a direct deposit transfer. It really depends on which state you are from as each states regulations differ.

If you have never had a debit card from the EDD before and your first benefit payment has been approved Bank of America will put the card into the mail the next business day. This number is specific to the state you live in. Check the website of your states unemployment office because the options and processes for signing up can vary and due to the coronavirus it may be difficult to reach a customer service representative for additional support.

To request a replacement card call ReliaCard customer service at 800-657-6343. It is more than likely that your unemployment card will have a service number that you can call if you lose the card. Once your card is set up you can use it just like other debit cards.

It can take a while for this process to go through as most states do not take kindly to lost unemployment credit cards.
